July: Take the Heat to the Top
July is the month long known as the “dog days of summer” because it tends to be the hottest month of the year. This is the heat that responds best to swimming pools and family cookouts. The intensity of the warmth is like that of a newborn’s heartbeat that flutters at each breath. July owns the patent on summer fun. Days filled with campground sing-a-longs, backyard grilling, and poolside antics for a time to forget. Forgetting workday, school day, and life’s stressors, to find joy in a summer day is to take the heat to the top.
What does it mean to take the heat to the top? Simply, bring your passions to the surface by relinquishing those things that hinder your progress.
How? Focus on making your passions the center of your world. The level of commitment it requires to focus on your passions requires concentration, courage, and compassion.

When we truly focus, we give our desires the clarity they need to grow and bloom.
